Upcoming Events for Fall 2024
Fall Classes Start September 11th!
Rookie Program (only open to Harvard affiliates): Drop-in fee $5 per night
Wednesdays: Standard and Smooth 8-10pm at the Northwest Building (52 Oxford St)
Thursdays: Latin and Rhythm 9-11pm at the Harvard Dance Center
Intermediate Program (requires prior ballroom experience): Drop-in fee $15 per night
Mondays: Latin 10-11pm at the Harvard Dance Center (first class Sept 17th)
Wednesdays: Standard 10-11pm at the Northwest Building (first class Sept 18th)

Harvard Ballroom Dance Team
HBDT is an undergraduate organization that was created to promote Ballroom and Latin dancing in the Harvard community and represent Harvard to the collegiate and larger ballroom community through outreach and competitions.
No partner or experience necessary!

Social Events
We are a fun and supportive community, frequently hold social events, and create opportunities for freshman to get to know upperclassmen. In fact, many people find their closest friends on the team! We also host and attend many social dances each semester, so members who do not want to compete have many opportunities to dance in a social setting!
Competitions
With guidance from our professional coaches, HBDT has sharpened its competitive edge. We both compete in local competitions and host our own named Harvard Beginners (in October)! We also compete internationally, in Canada! Our team also maintains a closet of over 70 ballroom costumes so that everyone can compete, regardless of their resources.
